Game 5 Oct 27th and Game 6 Nov 3rd



Game 5 – Oct 27 2018– Burford Coyotes vs Ingersoll Express Novice LL Butterworths

The game was a lot back and forth between both ends.  Burford opened up the scoring with a goal at 5:03 in the first.  Ingersoll tied the game at 3:57 with a goal by #14 Carson assisted by #5 Eli Fedy and #10 Henry Brekelmans.   Ingersoll continued to battle in the second and third periods with many attempts on the Burford’s net but the Burford goalie wasn’t’ letting anything by.   Burford scored two goals in both the 2nd and 3rd period.  Final score 5-1.

Congrat’s Carson on your 7th goal, Eli on your 1st assist and Henry on your 2nd assist!

 

Game 6 – Nov 3 2018 Waterford Wildcats vs Ingersoll Express Novice LL Butterworths

1st period started off with two great attempts on the Waterford net but it was Waterford who got the 1st goal at 4:14.    Waterford attempted another goal shortly after but our goalie Logan made a great save.   With just over a minute left in the period Waterford increased the lead to 2-0.

2nd period – Ingersoll got their first goal at 8:32 on rebound #14 Carson.   Waterford scored at 6:08 leading 3-1.   Waterford attempted to increase the lead further but another save by our goalie.   No more goals in the remaining second period but some great work by our team a great pass by #2 Brayden to #14 Carson, attempts by #17 Kingsley and hard work by #12 Aaron.

3rd period -Ingersoll kept playing hard and at 7:52 #2 Brayden P. scored bringing the game closer.   It was a fantastic game to watch as both teams were playing great.   Logan had two good saves, and #4 Liam had a great play on defense.   At 2:55 #17 Kingsley attempted to tie the game but it was stopped.   Waterford tried to increase the lead shortly after but our goalie made another save.   At 2:10 left in the game Ingersoll penalty, cross checking #17 Kingsley.   We made it through the penalty with no goals and with 15 seconds left in the game Waterford got the final goal increasing the lead for final score of 4-2.

Congrat’s to Carson on your 8th goal and Brayden P. on your 1st goal of the season. 

It was a great game for our team with all the players showing improvement.   Thank you Coaches for all the hard work we are now seeing dedicated lines and the players working well on their positions.
