Game 3 - Oct 21st 2018–Ingersoll Express Novice LL Butterworths vs Waterford Wildcats
The first period started with an early Ingersoll goal at 9:31 #17 Kingsley. Logan had three big saves and in the final minute and a half #17 Kingsley scored again for Ingersoll assisted by #9 Brayden Shorey.
Second Period started with Ingersoll in the lead 2-0 and ended with the Wildcats leading 3-2. The period started with a beauty kick save by Logan. Wildcats got on the board at 5:29 and continued to press hard in our end. Our team took two tripping penalties during the remaining period #18 and #14 battling to keep in out of our end. And in the last 2 and half minutes of the period the Wildcats got two goals.
Third period the game was again fought hard in our end. Ingersoll #18 rec’d another penalty for tripping and we continued to try to get back. In only the last two and half minutes Waterford increased their lead by another three goals and Ingersoll got one #12 Aaron Stevens assisted by #17 Kingsley at 1 minute left in the period. Final score 3-6
A shout-out to our goalie Logan Walters who played a great game and had a lot of fantastic saves.
Game 4 - Oct 24th 2018 Port Dover Pirates vs Ingersoll Express Novice LL Butterworths
This was a tough game for our team. The first period there was little action on either side with only one goal in the last few minutes of the first for Port Dover. Second period Port Dover dominated with 3 goals. In the third period Port Dover added two more goals ending the game with a score of 6-0.
Congrat’s to #17 Kingsley for two goals and an assist in game 3, #9 Brayden S. for his first assist and to #12 Aaron for his first goal of the season.
