Unifor Local 88 Midget Reps Go 1-1-1
Ingersoll started their Southern Counties A playoffs on Jan 2 in Tavistock. Tavistock beat our depleted midget team 5-3. Ingersoll ended up having 10 players and not all were completely healthy. Ingersoll was behind 4-0 at the end of the second period then showed some fight in the third to make it 4-3 before Tavi scored an empty netter.
Scoring for Ingersoll was Tanner Gray, Justin Holmes and Nathan Gould. Assists went to Gedies 2, Matt Berzins and Clayton Hammond.
On Jan 4 Ingersoll Midget Reps travelled to Caledonia and skated to a 3-3 tie. Clayton Hammond got the tying goal with 34 seconds left for the tie. Other scorers were Tanner Gedies and Camden McDougall. Assists went to Tanner Gray, Matt Berzins, Gedies and Hammond.
Ingersoll hosted Plattsville Jan 6 for their Carmeuse Lime game. Ingersoll won 6-3 in a great all round team effort. Michael Bain with the win in net. Leading the way in scoring was Parker Hodgson with the hat trick. Parker's second goal was a nice deke on a penalty shot. Other scorers were Justin Holmes, Alex Foster and Nathan Gould. Assists went to Tanner Gedies 2, Clayton Hammond 2, Tanner Gray, Matt Berzins, Foster and Holmes.
