OMHA Playdowns: Game 3--Overtime Magic
Last night the Ingersoll Tremblett`s YIG Express hosted Caledonia in game 3 of their second round OMHA play downs series in what can only be described as overtime magic!!!!

In the first period, the Tremblett`s YIG Express and the Thunder traded some scoring opportunities but both goalies stepped up and came up big.  The score was 0-0 after the first.  In the second, the boys peppered the Thunder goalie with shots but as he has done all series, came up big, time after time.  Spencer Krajewski was not as busy in the second but still made key saves when called upon.  In the third, the boys controlled the first half of the period and it finally paid off when Taylor Murray jumped on a juicy rebound on a shot from Charlie Ashman making it 1-0.  The other helper went to Jeremy Stiles.  As the period wore on the momentum slowly started to shift and the Thunder were awarded a penalty shot and tied the game.  The Thunder then scored shortly after to take the lead and put the pressure on the boys.  Instead of buckling, the coaching staff called a timeout so the boys could regroup.  As the period wore on the Tremblett`s YIG Express started getting pucks toward the net again, and with just over 2 minutes remaining in the period Brandon Plaquet was able to squeak a shot through the five hole and tied the game.  This game was going to overtime!!!!  In overtime, the boys continued to control the play and pushed the pace.  With just over 3 minutes left in overtime, Jayden Strom pounced on a loose puck and found some open ice and buried a wrist shot blocker side to win the game for the Express, much to the delight of the home fans.  Assists on the winning goal went to Charlie Ashman and Ethan Kish.  The Express can finish the series in Caledonia on Thursday evening.

Good Luck Boys!!!!
