Last night, the Ingersoll Tremblett's YIG Express headed to Norwich for a Southern Counties tilt against the Knighthawks.
In the first, the Express carried the play for most of the period leading to the games first goal. Taylor Murray scored the goal with the assist going to Logan Pare. Norwich scored shortly after making the score 1-1 after the first. In the second the teams traded chances with each team scoring. Charlie Ashman was the goal scorer with Ethan Kish getting the assist. Then with the Tremblett's YIG Express down a man in the box Taylor Murray streaked down the wing and buried a shot past the goalie making it 3-2 after 2 periods. In the third, the defence went into shut down mode and they were able to hold on for the 3-2 victory. The boys head to Caledonia for game 2 of their OMHA playdowns Saturday afternoon.
Good luck boys!!!!!
