Plattsville tournament-game 3
In the Silver medal division game of the Plattsville tournament the Ingersoll Tremblett's YIG Express played Arthur in the final.
In the first, the boys came out flying early and it paid off on a goal by Jeremy Stiles with the assist going to Brandon Plaquet and Ryan Condotta. The Express ran into some penalty trouble late and Arthur tied the game up late in the period. In the second, the game became quite physical with both teams taking trips to the sin bin but he only goal scored was by Arthur making it 2-1 going to the third period. In the third the Tremblett's YIG Express had plenty of chances but was stoned by a hot goalie and then Arthur capitalized on a rare opportunity and made the score 3-1. Late in the period with intense pressure on, Charlie Ashman scored from the point cutting the lead to 1 and they had chance after chance late but were not able to tie the game. Final score 3-2 Arthur.
Whats the saying? "Always a bridesmaid never the bride" !!!! For the third tournament they have made it to a final.
