December 17th Butterworth's Novice LL
On Saturday December 17th the Butterworth Services Express traveled to Tillsonburg to take on the Tornadoes.
After a scoreless 1st period, Douglas Catrysse would score unassisted to open the 2nd period. Brady Lamers then followed with a goal from Tanner Strom giving the Express at 2-1 lead heading into the 3rd period. After trading scoring chances in the 3rd period, neither team could capitalize and the Express would come away with a 2-1 win. With the win the team finished a 14 game first half of the season with a record of 9 wins, 3 losses and 2 ties, placing them in 4th place out of the 16 teams. Great work, team!
