Buterworth's Novice LL win against Six Nations December 3rd.
On Saturday, December 3rd, Ingersoll Butterworth Services Express played host to Six Nations Blackhawks# 1 team.
Maeve Baker banged home a rebound goal to open the scoring in the 1st period with assists going to Douglas Cattrysse and Weston Nutt. The Express scored twice more in the 2nd period with unassisted goals going to Colton Thompson and Douglas Cattrysse. The Express took a 3-0 lead in to the 3rd period, where they would score twice more with Tanner Strom scoring the first goal with assist going to Douglas Cattrysse and the other goal coming from Colton Thompson, unassisted. The Express would give up 2 goals to Six Nations in the 3rd period, but the team would come away with a 5-2 victory. Nolan Crane stood tall in net and had to be sharp as Six Nations had many good scoring opportunities.
