"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time" - Thomas Edison

The one thing that is more entertaining the game this evening is reading the official score sheet and the incredible will that our players showed to reach the score sheet. Some even for the first time this season in different columns.
The first period began as all of our games seem to, we had incredible puck control but just could not seem to get shots off or when we did it seemed like we were shooting directly at the Langton goal tender. Scoring started at the 6:06 mark of the first by #10 Jonah Martire assisted by #14 Dylan Lale. As the clock was ticking away the final seconds of the period #9 "A" Colton Macpherson snuck one in with only 0:49 left.

The second was much more of the same either we were firing pucks in, at or around the Langton goal but we could not manage to get a few by their net minder. The third goal came at 8:30 of the second by #9 "A" Colton Macpherson unassisted. The next goal came 4 minutes later by another of our assistant captains #11 "A" Westin Matsumoto assisted by the other assistant captain #9 "A" Colton Macpherson. As another two minutes ticked by #10 Jonah Martire added his second of the night unassisted.

As the third began like so many other times our energy is just starting to build as the other teams start to fade. The clock showed 13:56 of the third as #14 Dylan " Dill Pickle" Lale potted his first of the night assisted by #10 Jonah Martire. Four minutes later #10 Jonah Martire completed his hat trick for the game assisted by #14 Dylan Lale and #7 Charlie Ashman. Then after many attempts #2 Will Johnson finally got one past the Langton goalie unassisted. Barely over a minute later #12 Jorja Kloepher had her first of the match assisted by #9 "A" Colton Macpherson and #15 "C" Nathan Crane.
From this point on the score sheet would lets say be up for debate as some things that we saw in the stands and what the players on the ice actually completed were so far from what the referees saw! With 1:19 remaining on the clock magic was about to take place #15 "C" Nathan Crane after some blue line push ups Nathan not only was on target of the net he was blasting one past the Langton goal tender assisted by #10 Jonah Martire and #9 "A" Colton Macpherson. Seconds later #2 Will Johnson was given credit for what looked like from the ice and the stands #6 Sam Houses goal but the score sheet would show #2 will Johnson assisted by #6 Sam House. 17 more seconds pass by and the miracle on ice hit again #15 "C" Nathan Crane scored (not the miracle! lol) assisted by #9 "A" Colton Macpherson (still not the miracle) wait for it, wait for it..............the second assist goes to #1 Christopher Hardeman who manages to get his first point of the season surrounded by his team members........ON THE BENCH!"Hallelujah" Miracles do happen. As the final seconds ticked by the all defensive line scored the final goal of the game #15 "C" Nathan Crane completed his hat trick assisted by #7 Charlie "Chuck" Ashman.

Big things to come this week Express! Let's keep this train on the right track and steam on through the visiting Tornados tomorrow night.

“Nothing truly stops you.  Nothing truly holds you back.  For your own will is always within your control.  Sickness may challenge your body. But are you merely your body? Lameness may impede your legs. But you are not merely your legs. Your will is bigger than your legs. Your will needn’t be affected by an incident unless you let it.” ~ Epictetus
