One night after a lack luster showing in Caledonia, our Ingersoll Express welcomed Six Nations to our home ice.
Looking to bounce back and return to our winning ways. The firsts period started with our Novice team fighting for puck position with Six Nations. As we did in Caledonia our team was looking flat and sluggish with no real drive to take control of the puck or the game. As the period wore on or team seemed to wake up and slow start to show that aggressive play that has won us most of our games this year, but with that aggression we once again found our way into the sin bin receiving back to back penalties in the dying minutes of the first.
The second period had us short handed right from the start but our team still poured it on and kept the visiting team on their heels and pined in their own end. With the clock showing 8:55 #11 Westin Matsumoto broke open the scoring securing a huge rebound off the Six Nations goalie and blasting it into the back of the net, with the assist going to #10 Jonah Martire. At almost the half way mark of the period we were able to beat the Six Nations net minder again this time with our newly appointed team captain #15 Nathan Crane following in his assistant Captains foot steps and potted the second goal of the game assisted by #16 Ryan Fraser. Then with a little less than 4 minutes left on the clock #9 Colton Macpherson finished off the scoring for the period assisted by #12 Jorja Kloepher and #3 Josh Robles. All of the three goals coming from our new captain and his two assistants showing great leadership to the team. With only 2:10 left on the clock Six Nations was finally able to squeak in a goal  past our goaltender #20 Riley Vyse ending the period down two goals.
End of the second period Six Nations 1 - Ingersoll Express 3
The third started with our Express looking like a bullet train and with under a minute into the period #9 Colton Macpherson was able to beat the visiting goalie for his second time of the night assisted by #16 Ryan Fraser and #19 Brandon Plaquet. After that the revolving door into the penalty box began for both teams with a total 7 different players receiving a total of 9 penalties in the match. At the 5:13 mark #12 Jorja Kloepher jumped on the score sheet with her first goal of the game assisted #16 Ryan Fraser and #9 Colton Macpherson. Then under a minute later "The Magician" was working his magic and potted his second goal unassisted and extended the lead to 5 goals. Only 26 seconds later #3 Josh Robles jumped on the score sheet assisted by #14 Dylan Lale and #6 Sam House. The clock slowly ticked on and not giving up Six Nations still on the attack were able to lift one up over #20 Riley Vyse and just sneak the puck under the cross bar.  Still not happy with the five goal lead our Express poured it on again and #9 Colton Macpherson completed his hat trick for the game assisted by #15 Nathan Crane and #12 Jorja Kloepher.

Great way to bounce back after the loss on the road, but we still need to dig deep and hit that ice from the drop of the first puck as we do we the second period begins.
