 Fresh from Parry Sound your 2015 Barry Orr Hall of Fame Classic Champions returned to home ice to face the visiting Norwich Knighthawks.


 Back on home ice from the 5 games in two days, the Express had a practice Tuesday night then returned to the regular season schedule. Thursday night hockey at the Mad house on Mutual Street.
 The Norwich Knighthawks came into town with a record of 1-4 looking to turn their regular season around but our Express on their home ice are a bullet train to the score board.
 The first period saw our Express with lots of chances but the Nighthawks net minder  was working over time pushing away puck after puck. #10 Jonah Martire was able to break through a the 8:06 mark of the first unassisted. Then five minutes later #7 Charlie "Chuck" Ashman assisted by #9 Colton Macpherson padded the lead to two goals. Less than a minute later "The Magician" was working his magic act and potted the third goal of the game #11 Westin Matsumoto assisted by #14 Dylan "Dill Pickle" Lale.

 The second began with a bang and with less than a minute into the period #9 Colton Macpherson added to his season total assisted by #17 Wyatt Thompson. At 7:59 of the period our "Towers of power" wanted in on the scoring and #19 Brandon Plaquet assisted by his defensive partner #8 Ryan Wolfe and #12 Jorja Kloepfer. The scoring onslaught continued for the rest of the game with the next nine.....Yes that is right nine goals. In no particular order they were scored by #4 Urijah "Jewkesy" Jewkes, #3 Josh Robles, #9 Colton Macpherson, #17 Wyatt Thompson, #11 Westin Matsumoto, #10 Jonah Martire and with another hat trick #14 Dylan Lale. Those goals were assisted by #7 Charlie Ashman with two more points, #12 Jorja Kloepher, #9 Colton Macpherson and #17 Wyatt Thompson.
 Also with another shut out to add to his record in the this young season #20 Riley "Vysey" Vyse.
