Three Hat Tricks and a Shutout for the BrokerLink Atom Reps
The mighty scoring power of the BrokerLink Atom Rep team was on display Sunday in Ingersoll as the home squad pummeled the Embro Edge.

Dominic Kingsbury earned the shutout with some key saves, and all players contributed to the scoreboard. Racking up their stats, Cohen Belore led in points with 8 (4 goals, 4 assists), Aden Brown with 6 (3 goals, 3 assists) and with 5 points each, Alex Schuett (3 goals, 2 assists), Seth Hedges (2 goals, 3 assists), and Evan Hopson (2 goals, 3 assists).  Ben White earned 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists), Gavin Bryant with 3 (1 goal, 2 assists) and Charlie Kish with 3 (3 assists).  Josh Clark had 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and single points for assists went to Tye House, Ben Brown, Nathan Bailey, Marisa Freeman, and Max Branderhorst.  Great teamwork Express!  A great effort was also shown by the Embro team and goaltender, who never gave up despite the lopsided score.  Great determination!

The Atoms travelled to Wellesley on Nov 21st to battle the Twin Centre Stars.  This was a very exciting game with lots of action at both ends of the ice. Gavin Bryant (Tye House) opened the scoring in the first period with a power play goal to put Ingersoll up 1-0, and despite the hard work of both teams, the scoreboard remained quiet after that until the 3rd period.  The Stars came out shining in the 3rd period, but Ingersoll goalie Dominic Kingsbury made save after save to hold onto the lead.  At 11:15 Bryant caught another pass from House and fired another one past the Twin Centre netminder to put Ingersoll into a two-goal lead.  The two-goal lead was just not enough though...and as we have seen in other recent games, in the last five minutes of the 3rd, our opponents managed to capitialize on a couple of scoring chances.  Final score 2-2.  Good fight Express!  That was a strong team and we played hard for the win, but will have to settle for one point.

Tonight the team travels to Delhi, and Thursday hosts Langton before traveling to Huntsville to compete in their annual Rep tournament Nov 29-Dec 1.  Go Express!!
