During the first period Ingersoll Canadian Tire played with heart and where rewarded late in the period when Ethan Vlemmix took control from his own blueline and made a good deke on the Six Nations goalie.

Shelby Todd worked hard and made a fine defensive play to save a goal on a hard shot by Six Nations when she managed to her stick in front of the slapshot.

The 6 Nations team tied the score one minute into the second period and put themselves ahead a couple minutes later.

Canadian Tire Ingersoll had the crowd chanting to start the third period but the 6 Nations team brought pressure and fine goaltending by Megan Longlade prevented them from getting anymore goals.

Ingersoll put intense pressure on in the last 2 minutes of the game but could not find the equalizer.
