Ingersoll Novice Butterworth's Service Centre Team Spent The Weekend In Port Colborne Friday Febuary 24th to 25th 2012

Friday Febuary 24th we started the tournament off against Little Britian.
Scoring in the first period was Ethan MacPherson assisted by Shelby Todd and Madelyn Nigh-Smith. Ending the first period 2-1 Little Britain.

No scoring in the second which Little Britain managed to squeeze 4 goals in the third period ending the game in a 6-1 loss.

Saturday morning Butterworth's played against Strathroy, were Ethan MacPherson was on fire, scoring 2 goals in the first period with help from teammates Caleb Clifford and Lucas White.
Second period goals went to MacPherson assisted by Braden Wright and Owen Longlade scored a goal assisted by Emma Adams. Next Liam Suozzi feeds MacPherson a pass which gets his 4th goal of the game. Longlade comes down gets the 6th goal of the game assisted by Nathan Emonts and Ethan Martire. Ending the game 6-1 win for Butterworth's
Awesome goal tending by Dominic Kingsbury who faced tons of shots on net!

Later that afternoon we played Ottawa, after the first period it was 1-0 Ottawa. Going into the second period Butterworth's stuck right with them with quick passing and skating game. Ben Brown scoring in  the second period assisted by Mitchell Homenuik and Ryan Brennon, ending the second 3-1 lead for Ottawa. Butterworth's tried to hang on but Ottawa's 4 unanswered goals end the game in a 7-1 loss.

Good time and experience for the kids to play in a tournament. a BIG THANKS to coach John Adams for organizing a great tournament weekend.

Home game tonight against Tillsonburg, puck drops at 6pm. Than off to Six Nations tuesday night game time 6pm!
