Canadian Tire vs Waterford
On Saturday December 10 Canadian Tire Atom played in Waterford for a very exciting game where we fell short by just 1. We scored our first goal within 8 seconds of the game starting with Mark Tucker assisted by Nolan Costa. Delhi came right back to score 2 more that period. We scored our second goal with less than 3 minutes left in the 2nd period by Mark Tucker again assisted by Keegan Purdy.
Our final goal was scored in the third period by Nolan Costa unassisted. Despite some hard work by the entire team we weren’t able to tie the game but not for lack of effort. Stars of the game were 3rd star Matthew Debruyn, 2nd star Mike Mersereau and 1st stars were tied with Kimberley Norris and Katie Frizelle (Girls rule, boys drool!) Keep up the great work team!
