Canadian Tire Atom
Canadian Tire Atom team played an awesome game against Waterford on Novemer 26, 2011 with help from Matt Dykxhoorn and Joel Gardham. They had a very exciting first period where they scored 3 goals. The first goal was scored by Aidan Berto assisted by Matthew DeBruyn. Three minutes later the 2nd goal was scored by Mathew Debruyn unassisted. With six seconds left in the 1st period our third goal was scored by Mark Tucker assisted by Paul Shearer. Great first period.
The second period we fought hard but a few goals got past us. We scored our fourth goal in the second period with less than 4 minutes left by Mark Tucker again, assisted by Matthew Dykxhoorn. Unfortunately we weren’t able to hold them back and they won by one goal. The stars of the game were Matt Dykxhoorn 3rd star, Ethan Vlemmix 2nd star and the 1st star to Donovan Purcell. Welcome back and what a great way to come back from injury Donovan. Great game team! Keep up the digging!
