Canadian Tire Atom vs Waterford
On November 13, 2011 the Canadian Tire Atom team played against Waterford #1 team. It was a well played game. Goalie Brodi Carbaugh stopped several goals but unfortunately we came up short with a score of 4-10. We scored our first goal in the first period with less than 2 minutes remaining by Matthew DeBruyn assisted by Mark Tucker. Half way through the second period we scored our second goal after several great re-bound shots from several players but Aidan Berto got the final shot assisted by Paul Shearer and Mark Tucker.
We scored our final two goals in the third period, the first after a defensive rush by Keegan Purdy unassisted and the second by Mark Tucker assisted by Nolan Costa. The three stars of the game tonight were 3rd star our goalie Brodi Carbaugh, 2nd star Katie Frizzelle and 1st star Keegan Purdy. Keep digging hard players!
