Ho Ho Ho-Oh So Close!
As our last game before the Christmas holidays, school done for 2 weeks and candy intake at a maximum that can only be close to that of Halloween you could see (and hear) the excitement in all of the kids faces in the change room. Coach Paul gave a good pre-game talk about where the players/positions are supposed to be on the ice and of course to make sure everyone has a good time out there on the ice!
Ethan got off the bench and skated right to the net with one goal in mind, scoring that first goal, and he did it! #14, Ethan MacPherson scored the first goal with assists from #19, Caleb Clifford, and #18 Bryson Green. The second goal was scored 30 seconds later by #6, Ben White assisted by #21 Jesse Jones. The last goal of the game was scored by #17, Alex Schuett. Our goalie for this game was Ben Brown. He caught the puck, jumped on the puck, layed down on the puck - he did pretty much everything possible to keep that puck from going into the net! Good Job Ben and the whole Dairy Queen team! A game well played, but time ran out for us again boys! Final score: 4-3 for Alymer.
