As the puck drops for the 7th game of the season, it is easy to see all the boys are starting to gel as they play together more and more. They are talking to eachother on the ice, and when a goal is scored, there is hooting and hollering being done by everyone. But if it goes the other way and the opposing team gets one in, the team comes back and gives an encouraging word to the goalie – or at least that is what this Mother is hoping that they are doing!
As the game starts, in the first minute of game play, #19 Caleb Clifford gets the first goal. Two minutes later, #3 Noah Cooper scores a goal, assisted by #17 Alex Shuett. Now that’s setting the tone for the game boys! After a lot of passing the puck around, #19 Caleb Clifford breaks away from the pack and puts the puck in the net, assisted by #15 Chase Ellis. Just as the shift was changing, #16 Ben Brown skates out on the ice, and get the 4th goal of the game. Ben continues on his goal streak 2 more goals - totally unassisted - Now thats our first hat trick of the season! Winning the game for Ingersoll Grey – 6-4
