Ingersoll wins in Tillsonburg
Ingersoll Thamesford Pizza scored twice in the last two minutes to eek out a victory over Tillsonburg #2.
After a scoreless first period, Ingersoll got on the board first when Alex Messenger finished a drive midway through the second period. Assists went to Riley Valotaire and Matthew Holmes. Tillsonburg then picked up the pace, pulling ahead with six minutes left in the game. With the clock ticking down, Ingersoll swarmed the Tillsonburg net, but were denied until a point shot from Jordan Pacheco found its way into the net with 1:51 remaining. Moments later, Tristin Koster scored the game winner with a backhand shot from an impossible angle.
Final score, Ingersoll 3, Tillsonburg 2.
