Ingersoll Express J-Tech Design Bantam Rep

TheIngersoll Express J-Tech Design Bantam Rep team started their firstround of the OMHA play downs this week traveling to Caledonia. Thetwo teams had not played against each other since November and thiswas round 2 of OMHA’s for Caledonia. Both teams came out strongand the game was fast-paced with some good hits and some excellentpasses.



J-TechDesign Bantams earned the first goal early in the first period withJordan Travis faking out the goalie after getting a great pass fromDylan Robinson and Jesiah Sweetland, score 1-0. Just 45 secondslater Ryan Wavell puts one in the net, score 2-0. Blake Telferbetween the pipes is on his game again and gets a beautiful save on ashort-handed shift and period one ends. J-Tech comes out strong inthe second period and dominates the Caledonia end. A point shot fromBrett Nicholson gets past the defense and hits the mesh assisted byWavell putting the score at 3-0. J-Tech continues to put thepressure on and the second period ends 3-0. J-Tech is playing one oftheir best games with excellent plays and passes and taking everyopportunity to shoot. Wavell scores his second goal of the nightwith assists going to Derick Tonin and Jesse Shelton, score now 4-0.With only minutes left in the third, J-Tech is still in full-steammode and once again score with the goal put in by Dylan Robinsonassisted by Hayden Martin and Eric Bennett. The games ends with ashut-out for Telfer and Game #2 on home ice.

TheIngersoll Express J-Tech Design Bantam Rep team played their secondgame of OMHA play downs this Saturday 17thon home ice against Caledonia. J-Tech Design were fast out of thegate and put the pressure on Caledonia from the start. They had someexcellent plays and shots on net and did a great job killing off apenalty. Goaltender Blake Telfer had an amazing stretch glove savethat kept the score at 0-0 for the first period. Nine minutes intothe second period Jake Schneider gets one past the Caledonia defenseto put J-Tech on the board with the assist going to Darren Tyrrell.The third period becomes very physical and J-Tech continues to workas a team. Minutes in Ryan Wavell scores with an assist going toRyan Lepik putting the game at 2-0. J-Tech then gets a 5 on 3opportunity and they take full advantage of it. Hayden Martin takes apass from Jesiah Sweetland and puts the puck in the top right cornerof the Caledonia net, score 3-0. Once again J-Tech sets up some sweetpasses and Brendan Harnett puts one past the goalie assisted byDerick Tonin and Jesse Shelton bringing the score to 4-0. Telfercontinues to make some excellent saves but after an intense shiftfrom Caledonia they score. This just encouraged J-Tech to play evenharder to keep the lead and they ended the game in the Caledonia endwith a final score of 4-1.
