The IDMHA Executive would like to thank all of our members who came and cast your vote on whether or not you support an Amalgamation with Tillsonburg Minor Hockey.
Results of Tillsonburg Minor Hockey Inc Vote Feb 22, 2023 – 87% YES and 13% NO
Results of Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey Vote Feb 23, 2023 - 86% YES and 14% NO
This positive result means we have all passed the first step in the journey to create an amalgamated Minor Hockey Association that will compete as an A center for the upcoming season.
In order to keep everyone updated this positive result is just the first step. Over the coming weeks the Amalgamation committees of both Tillsonburg and Ingersoll will be working with the OMHA on the next steps and eventually seeking OMHA approval prior to coach selection and spring tryouts. We are not there yet but the IDMHA Board appreciates everyone’s effort and looks forward to more good news ahead.
IDMHA would also like to thank everyone in Tillsonburg who voted on Feb 22, 2023.
