Registration Information
Submitted By Jamie Belore on Thursday, June 25, 2020
Hello IDMHA players and families.

I apologize for not sending out an email earlier but thought it best wait until more information was available.
As we all continue to adjust to the new normal, the IDMHA Executive continues to monitor the ever evolving Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic situation.

Members of the IDMHA Executive have participated in several teleconferences with representatives from the OMHA, OHF & Hockey Canada regarding the hopeful Return to Hockey. Both Hockey Canada and the OHF have released Return to Hockey Frameworks, both of which have detailed guidelines of the staged approach to the eventual return to play.

This staged approach does not have a specific time frame but will evolve further to guidelines of the public health authorities, the provincial government, Town of Ingersoll and our governing bodies, (OMHA, OHF & Hockey Canada).

With this in mind we have decided to open registration starting July 1 2020, until July 22. With COVID-19 impacting our lives, there is still a sense of uncertainty as to what this upcoming season will look like and when it will commence. Taking this into account there will not be any funds collected at this time. Opening registration will give our association an idea of registration numbers and will allow us to plan for the season accordingly.

Important Notes:

1. IDMHA will follow the guidance of our local health unit and levels of government, along with Hockey Canada, OHF, and OMHA for return to plan and health and safety protocols. Safety of our players and hockey family is our utmost priority.

2. We are accepting registration starting July 1 2020, but no payments please. When selecting “Method of Payment”, please click “Other”. Payment will be requested with breakdowns when we can confirm a start to the hockey season.

3. Registration can be cancelled at any time leading up to the start of the season, with no penalty.

4. Age Division Name Changes:

Stay Healthy & Safe
