Carmeuse Lime Invitational – St. Thomas Stars
Friday, January 8, 2016, Shooters Sports Photography welcome the St. Thomas Stars to the Carmeuse Lime Invitational.
This “sports writer” was late to the game, however; upon arrival the score was tied and Ingersoll was on fire!
Craig wild had already scored with assistance from Justin Koch. Meanwhile, a second shot had found its way past St. Thomas' goalie, shot by Jared Campbell, who received the puck from Justin Burns and Kristopher Procter.
Later in the game, Jordan Lahey scored a goal assisted by Procter and Walker Linklater. Ingersoll's final goal of the game would be scored by Campbell with assistance again by Procter and Burns.
With the score tied, St. Thomas took a shot which deflected off an Ingersoll stick, and took a tricky flip up into the net, giving St. Thomas the go-ahead goal. Then, in the last minute of play, Ingersoll pulled their goalie, which allowed St. Thomas to seal the game with an empty net goal.
St. Thomas would take home the win, with a score of 6 over Ingersoll's Shooters' 4.
