A Quick Start = GREAT Results
It was within the first minute that you just knew this was going to be a good game! Ben W got the scoring off to a great start finding the side pocket. It was a fairly evenly matched game with lots of up and down play between our Ingersoll Grey's and Belmont. Ben B dropped one in with a little help from his friend, Ben W.
It was a quick return to the Belmont net with Ben W dropping in another one, assisted by Kaleb K.
It took some good defensive moves by our boys to keep the puck out of our end and push it back where it belongs - Right in that sweet spot! Bryson G was able to put another one on the boards for us, and right after that, Matthew D dumped it back in for another goal for Ingersoll Grey!
With six minutes left on the clock, Ben W decided it was his day for a hat trick and put another one past Belmont's goalie.
But Belmont wasn't done with us yet - they happened to slid 2 past us in the last minute of the game.
Ingersoll Grey held it together and still came out on top with a win of 6-4!
Special mention to our goalie for the game Ethan M. He was unstopable!
