On Saturday January 21st,
the Ingersoll Tirecraft Atoms played Tillsonburg Tornados.
With a scoreless Ist period, 2nd period play Ingersoll, saw #18 Owen Lively scoring on an assist from #19 Keifer Sim-Currah in the first minute of play. The lead was short lived as Tillsonburg tied it up 20 seconds later and would go on to further the gap scoring with two and a half minutes of play. Ingersoll’s #9 Noah Muller would manage to tie it up with 5 seconds left of play to end the second.
In the third, Tillsonburg would again take the lead making it 3-2 but with 30 seconds left in the game Ingersoll would swarm the Tillsonburg net. In the flurry of shots Ingersoll’s #6 Lucas Folkema managed to sneak one past the goalie ending the game in a 3-3 tie.
