The hunt for the playoffs continues...
Last night Butterworth's novice local league # 3 continued their late playoff push hosting Six Nations. It was a great game and Butterworth's opened the scoring in the first and had a 2-0 lead early in the second when Six Nations scored 2 quick goals to tie the game going into the third period. With both teams exchanging penalties in the third B. Huitema popped in a rebound "upstairs" to break the tie. Then, with the Six Nations net empty, E. Kish was able to score his second of the game to make the final 4-2. N. Crane was great in net once again for Butterworth's. The other goal scorer was B. Randall. Assists went to U. Jewkes with 2 and R. Gregg.
