Game 3 & 4 - Tough weekend for Carmeuse
The boys had a pair of games this weekend, resulting in a couple tough losses. Saturday the Aylmer Flames came to town as we hosted our first home game of the season. It was an even pretty tilt overall, as the game could have gone either way, but a tough final period resulted in a 5-3 loss. A shout out to Luke DeWit, who lit the lamp for all three goals for your Express.
Andrew Power assisted on all three taliies, with Ryan Condotta getting credit for an assist as well. Kudos to Brandon Plaquet who made several key saves to keep the Express in the contest.
Sunday saw the boys travel to Six Nations and they dropped another close contest 4-3. Tanner Belore had a solid game including a significant brew-ha-ha in front of his net, that took several minutes to decipher the penaltminutes. Reed Skevington, Ethan Cuthbert and Aaron Lahey were our goal scores today with assists going to Robert Allen, Matthew Mauthe, Aaron Lahey, Ryan Condotta, Alex Stratton and Owen Clarke.
The boys probably have their toughest contest Wed as they play the Tillsonburg Rep B team, before heading North for their first away tournament in Huntsville. Best of luck next weekend boys.
