Rolling over the Rockets!!!
Last night, the Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express hosted the Rockets from Delhi.
The first period was controlled by the Express but unfortunately had nothing to show for it. In the second, the pressure continued and it finally paid off when Eli North broke the scoreless tie. Brody Huitema had the lone assist on the goal. Three minutes later, Parker Cook made it 2-0 when he buried a juicy rebound. The assists went to Huitema and Ethan Kish. Eli North made it 3-0 with the assists credited to Tyler Fleming and Parker Cook. North finished the period off scoring his third making it 4-0 after two periods of play.
In the third, it was much of them same as Ethan Kish made it 5-0 with Cook getting the helper. Delhi was able to break the shutout, but that's all they could muster as the Express, scored two more times. The captain Jeremy Stiles scored on the power play with Kolten Winkworth getting the assist and then Stiles scored again late.
Jaxon Pinard was solid between the pipes on this night and it was a solid team effort securing a 7-1 victory.
The Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express will be volunteering their time this Saturday for a great cause at the TA7 fundraiser in Thamesford.
Their next game is next Thursday in Ingersoll vs Twin Centres. Good luck boys!!!
