Silver Stick Championship Game
The U15 AE team (sponsored by Dove Dental) were in Ayr for the Championship game vs the Norwood Hornets at 1PM

Period One - . Fans showed up for both teams waiting to see who was going to take the "W". Up to this point neither team had lost a game and they each had a tie under them. This was a 10 minute period with a lot of back and forth again. The action started with a goal by Ingersoll at 2:43 that shot was taken by #6 Ryan Gregg (unassisted). Just after that goal #18 Owen Deal was sent to the box for hooking and that penalty was killed by the team, leaving the score 1-0 going into the second.

Second Period - Number 20 Brody Huitema started off the action this period with a penalty for hooking. Again this penalty was killed successfully by the boys. Again a lot of back and forth this period but the score would remain going into the third 1-0 Ingersoll.

Third Penalty - This was a 15 minute penalty and was a stressful period right from the drop of the puck at center ice. Everyone was watching so closely to see what was going to happen. Ingersoll started pretty early with #9 Brandt Kloepfer landing our second goal in the net for Ingersoll assisted by #5 Parker Cook. Norwood was not far behind with their first goal of the game at 9:20. The rest of the period both teams had some really great plays and really great shots right up until the buzzer. Ingersoll did come home with the WIN as Silver Stick Regional Champions. Amazing work by both teams and Norwood you didn't make it easy for us.
