Ingersoll Vs Ayr

Period One - In net #1 Justin Clarke.
There was alot of back and forth played during this period. Fast paced and both teams were on their toes. First goal of the game was scored by Ingersoll's #19 C. Ashman (assisted by #14 J. Strom) at 5:22. To round out the period Ayr did find themselves with a breakaway and fired it right past Justin at 10 seconds left. For a 1-1 tie going into the second.

Second Period - Alot of the time was spent in the Ayr end. Goals this period went to #15 K. Whetstone (assisted by #20 B. Huitema) at 9:29 and again #15 K. Whetstone (unassissed) at 739, #20 B. Huitema which came as a pass right from the faceoff that was taken by #14 J. Strom and final goal of the period went to #14 J. Strom (assisted by #15 K Whetstone) with 40.4 seconds left. The only penalty this period was seen by #5 P. Cook for interference. During this period Justin did have a very nice slide save that did not go unnoticed.

Third Period - For the first 4 and a half minutes the puck did not even see our side of centre ice. The Ingersoll boys scored another 3 goals this period. They belonged to # 21 L. Pare (unassisted) at 14:46 to start off the period. Followed by a goal from #14 J. Strom (assisted by #6 R. Gregg) at 12:41. The last goal of the game and period was shot by # 6 R. Gregg (assisted by # 21 L. Pare). Two of the boys did see the penalty box this period. #18 O. Deal was in for 4 minutes for head contact at 9:05 and #20 B. Huitema had a 2 minute penalty for slashing.
