Tillsonburg Tournament Game One
Ingersoll  AE U15 (sponsored by Dove Dental) are in a tournament this weekend in Tillsonburg. First game of the Tournament was today Friday November 5 at 12:30PM.

The first game of the tournament had the boys on the ice against St. Mary's Rock. Both teams came out strong for the warm ups. The stands were packed with parents, grandparents and siblings. What a great turnout for this amazing match up.

First period in net for Ingersoll was #33 Brandon Plaquet, and what a job he did! He had a great glove save almost right off the hop and stopped a breakaway with only a minute left in the period. Ingersoll was able to kill a penalty received by #9  Brandt Kloepfer this period at 3:09. Another penalty was handed to #15 right at the buzzer to go into the second period. After a long well played 10 minutes the first period score remained 0-0 headed into the second.

Second period - The boys came out one man down. The penalty was again killed and Brandon had a toe save that was not unnoticed by the crowed or any players on the bench's. St. Mary's did receive their first penalty at 3:29 and as well were able to kill that penalty bringing us into the third still tied 0-0. This was such a good game to watch other teams started to flood over to also watch the game.

Third period - Both teams were tied but not giving in or giving up. This was by far the best matched game we have played all year and both teams were feeling it but still had the momentum they started with. St. Mary's did land the first and only goal of the game at 7:55. That goal was then followed by 2 penalties for them one at 4:12 and one at 1:52. Ingersoll did pull the goalie for the last minute leaving the ice 6-4 but just could not get the right angle to get the puck in the net. Both teams played very well and the clean hitting and nice plays also were not unnoticed.
