In the third game of the Silver Stick Ingersoll faced a team we are very familiar with, the Tavistock Titans. After a bit of a game delay both teams came out strong with great back and forth action. Our team was down a man so there was lots of ice time to be had for the players. Everyone was working hard as a team, passing the puck and getting good opportunities to get a point on the score board. Stella was playing an amazing game in net for the team. The defensemen were working hard keeping the zone clear and the forwards were grinding for puck possession. With 58 seconds left in the first Tavistock scored off the faceoff giving them the lead. Stella went into lockdown and did not let another puck past her throughout the game. As the game went on the tempo slowed as both teams showed some tiredness. The Express had a few golden shots on net throughout the rest of the game but the Tavistock goalkeeper stood his ground and made some good saves. As the game was winding down the Express made every effort to get a puck into the net. This was a hard-fought game to the end with an outcome of 0-1. This team has improved so much over the first part of this season. There is no doubt that the wins will start to come soon! Keep up the great work!
