INGERSOLL EXPRESS ATOM REP VS. AYLMER FLAMES
The Ingersoll
Express head to Aylmer for their last game before the holiday season arrives.
Everyone is amped up and hoping for a win.
The flames open the scoring early with a high shot that bounces back off the top of the net trickling in behind Peter. Shortly after the Flames get a penalty, but Ingersoll cannot seem to take advantage of the powerplay. There is some pressure in The Express’ end, but Peter is hot in the net and denies The Flames any chance for a second goal. Ty shoots one in that is assisted by Kaelan putting Ingersoll on the board and tying the game.
The second period started the same as the first with Aylmer scoring early on putting them ahead by one. Peter is quick to deflect multiple attempts from the Flames but with a penalty for Ingersoll, Aylmer manages to score a goal during a powerplay ending the period 3-1 for The Flames.
The Express are not giving up and make some great attempts on the net with no luck. With one minute left of the third period, The Express pull their goalie in hopes of scoring, but the time runs out and the game ends with Aylmer winning 3-1. One thing is for sure, these boys don’t give up and fight to the very end no matter what. Great game played Express!
