INGERSOLL EXPRESS REP VS CAYUGA STARS
Through rain and snow, highway and country roads, The Ingersoll Express made the tricky drive to Cayuga to play against The Cayuga Stars Sunday evening.

The play started off with a nice glove save from Peter as Cayuga applies pressure on the Express. They manage to keep the puck in Ingersoll's zone and score the first goal of the night. This only fires up the Express as they push hard to get the puck away from The Stars and out of their zone. There is a nice passing play and near miss by Kohen to tie the gameRydan takes the puck end to end with some great stick handling and ties it up with an assist from Ty. Another great save by Peter keeps the Stars from getting ahead then Kaelan steals the puck away from the Stars and skates in an unassisted goal off the goalie's gloveThe period ends and Ingersoll is ahead by one.

The second period had no goals from either team. Cayuga once again brought the heat and worked to keep the puck in The Express zone,  but Ingersoll's defense  helps Peter and shuts them down. Peter denies multiple attempts from Cayuga  and the period ends with The Express still ahead 2-1. Saved by the Bell!

Peter was working overtime in the third period and the team was pushing hard to get a solid lead on Cayuga. Adriaan sneaks one past The Stars goalie as the puck just goes past the line. A great assist by Kohen on that goal gives The Express a two-goal lead nowWith only 3:04 minutes left to the game, Rydan extends Ingersoll's lead with a swift goal that was assisted by Ty and Cameron. The buzzer goes and the Express take home the win with the final score of 4 – 1.

A big shout out to number 14, Remy Lamers for helping out the team  and to the Express coaches. They have been doing an amazing job guiding these boys to be their best and it shows time and time again on the ice. Before The Cayuga Stars leave, The Ingersoll Express take a note from our game with the St. George Generals and send the Stars off with stick tap. Both teams played hard and our boys respectfully acknowledged their competitorsBravo Express!
