STREAK GOES TO FIVE AS EXPRESS DUMP DELHI
The Shooters Photography LL Midget team took down the visiting Delhi Rockets Sunday night on the strength of another hat trick by forward Max Branderhorst and timely goaltending by Dawson Sharpe.

Branderhorst opened the scoring in the first when he poked in a rebound off a Cohen Belore shot. Belore would pick up three assists on the night to go along with Branderhorst's hat trick.

Ingersoll's second goal came just six seconds into the second period when Belore won the opening faceoff and Branderhorst walked in and let a slap shot go that beat the Delhi netminder. The Express went up by three on a nice rush by Daniel Pullen who split the Delhi defence and let a wrist shot go from the slot that beat the netminder stick side.

Delhi would create a couple of chances but Sharpe was there to shut the door. Sharpe's best save came in the second when he flashed a nice glove save that seemed sure to go by him.

Brendan Aarts would add to the scoring in the second period on an Express penalty kill. Aarts fired the puck into the Delhi zone from outside the Rockets blueline. The Delhi goalie got his glove on it but could not stop the puck from popping out of his glove and into the net.

Branderhorst would finish up the scoring after he chipped a nice saucer pass from Belore into the Delhi net.

The Express play their final game of the second half on March 8 when they travel to Paris.
