The Shooters
Photography Midget local league team travelled to Delhi to face off against the
struggling Rockets on Friday.
With only eleven skaters in the lineup, Ingersoll scored three goals in the first three minutes and coasted to a 6-0 victory. Dawson Sharpe made key saves when called upon to earn the shutout. With the win, Ingersoll’s fourth in a row, the Express were able to hold on to first place atop the A Division standings with two games remaining.
Max Branderhorst had a four point night, leading the way for Ingersoll. Cohen Belore, Austin Brunelle and Tanner George also pitched in with a goal apiece. Brendan Aarts, Matt Molnar and Colin VanDyk assisted on the Ingersoll goals.
The two teams meet again at the Memorial Arena in Ingersoll Sunday evening.
