Do our skaters
have enough energy to face Burford after the weekend tournament? Yes!
Our skaters came to play on Monday with a lot of energy! Our team
achieved a different kind of greatness during this game but it will
never be reflected on the scoreboard.
How did we achieve greatness not reflected on the scoreboard? Our team can celebrate and be proud of the following:
-no penalties for the whole game
-being great ambassadors for our community by showing good sportsmanship
Our goalie, Hayden W. showed great kindness to the opposing team's goalie recognizing that the goalie was having a tough night. Hayden W. extended a high five to their goalie as we were switching ends during the game. That is an awesome display of kindness and great sportsmanship!
Kindness and great sportsmanship create wonderful memories! In all things in life, compete hard, play to win but always be a good sport! The Bantam LL#2, Unifor 3264 team moved the puck well and won the game. Looking forward to our game on Sunday against Norwich!
