Express vs Wildcats - Game One
PLL1 Game against Waterford Wildcats



Saturday was a beautiful afternoon for the Pewee LL1 (sponsored by Vision Property Management) to play hockey. We traveled to Waterford for the first game of the season to take on the Wildcats.

First period we came out strong with the first goal at 2:12 into the period scored by number 5 (Parker Cook), assisted by number  16 (Owen Neigh). Not long after we ended up with the second goal at 7:08 scored by number 6 (Lucas Folkema), assisted by number 8 (Spencer Krajewski)
In the first period Express took a total of 7 shots on net with Wildcats taking 9 shots on net.

Entering the second period  we were up 2-0 both teams had a lot of good back and forth plays but neither could manage to land a shot in the net.
Second period shots on net were as follows Express took 6 and Wildcats took 9

The third period was intense Wildcats came out and scored at 0:43 with a follow up goal at 2:06 and at 2:33 they made the shot that would end the game with the third goal. Third period Express took on a lot of shots, rebounds and we just did not have enough time to take the game back.
Third period Express took a total of 4 shots on the Wildcats, while they got a total of 16 shots on the Express team.

Overall it was a game well played for it being the first as a new team and we are all excited to see what this year of hockey brings.
In net period one and two was number 1 - Graeme Arthur
In net for the third period was number 33 - Justin Clarke

Total shots on net: Express landed 16, while the Wildcats managed 34.
