A Valiant Effort Game 6 vs St.Mary's
It has been a long exhausting weekend, and I apologize for the shortness of this article, but our squad played one heck of a game against a very formidable opponent in St.Mary's. We had beat them earlier in the year in the finals of their home tournament 2-1. Today the Rock got their revenge with a 2-0 victory and earned the the title of Champions of the Ayr regional Silverstick. Tanner Belore who played net for the Express was simply unbelievable and made save after save, keeping us in this game. Our boys pushed extremely hard and battled right to the bitter end, but an empty netter by the Rock sealed our fate. As expected, our boys took the loss with grace and once again proved what a great team we really have here.
This game could have gone either way. We are extremely proud of your efforts boys!! Way to represent your town the way you did!!
