January 27th saw the team take on Ingersoll#1 tirecraft. The team came out strong with #9Kyle Verhoeven scoring first at 7:55 with the assist going to #18 Addisen Hansford. At 6:55 of the first #9 Kyle Verhoeven netted his second of the game on a pass from #11 Trevor Hutchison. Keeping up the first period pressure #16 Aaden Workman gave his team a 3-0 lead going into the second. 7 seconds in to the second period was all it took for #9 Kyle Verhoeven to complete his hat trick unassisted. The other Ingersoll team managed to sneak one in at 4:14 of the second.
With 6.7 seconds left in the second the team answered with a goal from #17 Carson Walters with the assist going to #9 Kyle Verhoeven giving the team a 5-1 lead into the third. At 5:22 of the third #18 Addisen Hansford netted one giving her team the 6-1 lead. Less than a minute later #16 Aaden Workman scored on a feed from #11 Trevor Hutchison at 5:06 making it 7-1. Not done at 4:36 #9 Kyle Verhoeven buried his 4th of the game off a pass from #7 Tanner Strom making it 8-1. The other Ingersoll team managed to sneak one past an otherwise solid performance from #1 Justin Clarke. With .28 seconds left #9 Kyle Verhoeven put another one on the board with the assist going to #10 Brody Wilson. With the solid team effort they walked away with the 9-2 win.
