Oct. 28 Delhi travelled to Ingersoll to face the Anderson Appliance team. It was a tight game at both ends. Delhi opened the scoring at 6:43 in the first. 20 seconds later Delhi scored their second of the game at 6:23.
Ingersoll tightened up their play and made it to the end of the first down by 2. The second period brought more of the same back and forth until 53.6 seconds left in the second Ingersoll finally got on the board with a beauty goal by #10 Brody Wilson with assists going to #11 Trevor Hutchison and #9 Kyle Verhoeven. That goal sparked Ingersoll and ended the second only down by one. The third period started with Ingersoll pressing for the equalizer which came at 9:31 of the third with Ethan Clarke getting the goal ! The game was tied. The rest of the third seen chances at both ends with the goalies standing their ground. Big shout out to #1 Justin Clarke for his work between the pipes. Final score Delhi 2 Ingersoll 2.
