Busy week for the Canadian Tire Atom LL2
The past week has been a busy one for our Canadian Tire Atom LL2 team.

Last weekend, our team traveled to Strathroy for our 1st tournament of the season.  The team played great against three strong competitors.

On Friday, the team was defeated by the Lambeth Lancers with a score of 2-1.  Mason Durham scored the lone goal for Ingersoll.

Saturday and Sunday's games both went into overtime.  Saturday night our Atom LL2 team tied with Ilderton 2-2 in a tightly contested game.  Our fans went wild when Express' Travis Newell tied the game up with his 1st goal of the season, assisted by #16 Ashton Dionne.  Sunday's game saw our Express tie the undefeated Strathroy team with a score of 3-3.  Strathroy was leading 2-0 heading into the 3rd and solidified their lead scoring their 3rd of the game within the first few seconds.  Our boys did not get discouraged and came back strong, scoring 3 goals to send the game into overtime.  Both games finished in ties after 5 min of 3 on 3 play.

On November 3rd, Ingersoll hosted the Delhi Rockets in Thamesford.  It was the 1st time the two teams met, with the win going to Delhi to a score of 3-0.

This coming week, our Canadian Tire Atom LL2 team will continue to be busy when they travel to Simcoe on Tuesday night, followed by Tilsonburg on Saturday.  They will host Waterford on Sunday morning.  Go Express Go!
