Feb 5th vs Ayr
On February 5th, the Ayr Flames visited the Dove Dental Peewee Express AE's for their 2nd meeting of Southern Counties playoffs.

After a tie game in their previous meeting, Ingersoll was hoping for a different outcome.

Period 1 seen Ingersoll score first at 7:10. #11 R. Condotta made a pass to #17 E. Cuthbert who found the back of the net. Before the end of the period, Ayr would score twice to pull ahead 2-1.

Period 2 was all Ayr. They were able to score 3 times despite being outshot. Period 2 ended with Ayr ahead 5-1.

In period 3, after killing off a 5 on 3, the boys finally found their spark. In only 42 seconds, they put 4 goals on the board. At 9:18 #8 A. Stratton made a pass to #12 K. Brown who took a shot & #7 O Clarke gobbled up the rebound & put it in the net. Then at 9:03, #17 Cuthbert made a pass from the corner to #13 T. Murray waiting in front of the net to tap it past the goalie. At 8:53, #17 went up the ice & slid a pass across the ice to #11 Condotta who tapped it in. Then at 8:36, #11 Condotta took a shot, #17 Cuthbert grabbed the rebound & then #13 Murray grabbed his rebound to slide it past the goalie. After being down 5-1, the game is tied 5-5 with just over eight & a half minutes left. #1 T. Belore kept the boys in the game by flashing his leather & making plenty of amazing saves. The boys buckled down, blocked passes, back checked & worked together. With 2:22 left, #11 Condotta, with his 4th point of the game, took a shot & #17 Cuthbert, for his 5th point of the game, found the loose puck & tapped it in. Ayr would pull their goalie, but the boys wouldn't let the puck get into their end to give Ayr a chance to tie it up.

The most exciting game of the season would end with a 6-5 win. Great work boys, keep up the momentum!
