OMHA Game 2
On Saturday Jan 5th, the Paris Wolfpack visited the Ingersoll Peewee AE team at home for game #2 of their OMHA playdowns.
The boys came out more aggressive in game #2. Paris was able to score first with 3:23 left in period 1.
During period 2, with the shots pretty even, Paris was able to net 2 more to end the period up 3-0.
Again, #1 T. Belore had some amazing saves on Paris breakaways to keep the game close.
Period 3 had a lot of back & forth action, with Paris outshooting the Express. With 5:40 left, #12 K. Brown made a pass up the ice to find #17 E. Cuthbert. He took the puck into the Paris end, through the defenders & scored top shelf. Then with 1:05 left, #17 Cuthbert took his faceoff win into the Paris end & again found the back of the net, to pull within 1. With momentum on their side, the boys got the puck into the Paris end & #1 Belore headed to the bench for the extra attacker. With only 3.6 seconds left, Paris was able to get it out of their end & score the empty net goal.
