Game #3 of this OMHA Playdowns series would be hosted by Paris on February 20th. The first period of this game would prove to be a scoreless affair, with both goal tenders shutting out their opponent.
The 2nd period would start with an early goal by Paris giving them a 1-0 lead. With lots of game left Ingersoll would answer back with a goal of their own from Nick Yoworski, assisted by Westin Matsumoto and Charlie Ashman. Ingersoll would take a 1-1 tie into the 3rd period. With just under 9 minutes left in the game, Ingersoll's Matsumoto would get a shot off and with the goalie out of his net, Matsumoto would bury his own rebound, giving his team a 2-1 lead. Yoworski would score at the 5 minute mark of the period, assisted by Garret Folkema and Ingersoll would take a 3-1 lead. With Paris pressing Ingersoll would manage one more goal rom Folkema, assisted by Yoworski, with only 40 seconds left on the clock. The Ingersoll Express Ponting Financial Group would earn a 4-1 win over Paris and take a series lead.
Ingersoll will host Game #4 of the series on February 21, with puck drop at 7:10pm
