After an Ayr goalie change, the Ingersoll boys would be held off the board in the 3rd period.  Ingersoll would go ahead 4 points to zero in round 1.
Game 3 would see Ayr return to Ingersoll on January 31st, where the Express boys would be pushing for 2 points and a sweep to advance to the 2nd round of OMHA Playdowns.
As the Express boys hit the ice they were ready to play and would take a 1-0 lead in the first on a goal from Ashman, assisted by Brody Williams and Shapton.  Period 2 would see Ingersoll score 4 more goals to take a 5-0 lead into the 3rd period.  Yoworski would score a hat trick in the 2nd period with assists from Matsumoto x 3, Ashman and Shapton x2. The fourth goal of the period came from Robles, assisted by Thompson and Pike.  Ayr would score 2 early in the 3rd period but Yoworski would answer back with another goal assisted by Shapton and Wolfe.
The Peewee Ponting Financial Group Rep team would win game 3 by a final score of 6-2 and a series win.  They will now wait for Simcoe and Paris to finish their series and will play the winner in round 2 of the OMHA playdowns.
Great job boys, keep playing hard and best of luck in Round 2.
