Express Train Rolls into Tornadoes
The Ingersoll Express Train would roll into Tillsonburg on Sunday to play the Tornadoes in their fourth game of the playoff round.
This game would be a back and forth battle with both teams getting lots of chances to score on the opposing goal tenders. However, through two periods of play the game would remain scoreless heading into the 3rd period of play. Tillsonburg would score late in the game to take a 1-0 lead. Ingersoll would continue to press and with the goalie out they would get chances, but could not get the puck to bounce past the Tillsonburg net minder and would lose another hard fought battle 1-0.
This Peewee group with hit the ice again on Thursday January 17th when the Simcoe Warriors come to town. Game time is 7:10pm. Good Luck Boys, keep playing hard!!
