Peewee Rep Boys Host Six Nations
On Thursday November 1st, Six Nations came to Ingersoll to play our Ponting Financial Peewee Rep team.
Six Nations would get out to an early 1-0 lead in the first period. Ingersoll's Nick Yoworski, assisted by Brody Williams, would answer right back to tie the game 1-1 heading into the 2nd period. Ty Shapton, assisted by Yoworski and Williams would give Ingersoll a 2-1 lead. Six Nations would tie the game 2-2. It would be defenceman, Nate Pike, assisted by Jonah Martire, giving Ingersoll a 3-2 lead. Six Nations would continue to pressure and would knot the game 3-3. Ingersoll would regain the lead on a goal from Luke Dewitt, assisted by Martire and Yoworski. Ingersoll would earn a 4-3 victory over Six Nations.
The boys will hit the ice again tomorrow, as they are participating in the Bill Batten Memorial Tournament in Exeter. Game 1 will see the boys face off against Minto at 1:20pm. Good Luck Boys
