Ponting Financial Peewee Rep Team, 2-2 in MILK Rep Tournament
The Ingersoll Express Peewee Rep boys, travelled to Prince Edward County this past weekend to participate in the MILK Rep Tournament. The boys would hit the ice for game 1 of the tournament at 1:45pm to play the Dorchester Dragons.  This would be a hard fought game, one bounce making the difference as to who would win this game, unfortunately, it would be Dorchester that would get the lucky bounce and take game 1 with a 1-0 score.

In game 2, Ingersoll would play league rivals, Caledonia Thunder.  Caledonia would jump out to a 2-0 lead, both goals coming on the power play.  Caledonia would manage to score a 3rd goal with just under 8 minutes left in the game, to pull ahead 3-0.  Our Express boys would continue to press and blue liner, Ryan Wolfe, would put his team on the board, assisted by Colton Macpherson.  Another blue liner, Nate Pike, would pull his team within 1 goal, assisted by Macpherson, with just under 2 minutes left in the game.  The boys continued to pepper Caledonia goalie but could not get a bounce to go our way and would lose by a narrow 3-2 margin.
Saturday at 2:00pm the Express boys would hit the ice to face off against the host team Prince Edward County.  Nicholas Yoworski would start the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 4:27 mark of the 1st period.  Two minutes later, Jonah Martire, assisted by Luke Dewitt would give Ingersoll a 2-0 lead heading into the 2nd period.  It would be Prince Edward County that would do all the scoring in the 2nd period to tie the game 2-2 heading into the 3rd.
Wyatt Thompson would give his team a 3-2 lead 10 minutes into the 3rd period with an unassisted goal.  Ingersoll would make the score 4-2 with 0:53 seconds left in the game on a goal from Ty Shapton, assisted by Westin Matsumoto.
The coaches and the boys and a few Dads would take a break from playing hockey and would attend a Belleville Senators AHL game on Saturday night.  A blast was had by all, thank you coaches and Dads.
Sunday morning the boys would play their 4th game of the tournament against the Petawawa Patriots.  Charlie Ashman, Ingersoll defence man, would give his team a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal with 2:46 left in the 1st period.  Petawawa would tie the game 1-1 with 4 minutes left in the 2nd period.  Petawawa would take a 2-1 lead with 9 minutes left in the 3rd period.  Thompson, with an unassisted goal, would tie the game 2-2 with 6:19 left in the 3rd period.  Macpherson would give his team a 3-2 lead and the victory, assisted by Shapton. The Ingersoll Express boys would leave the tournament on a winning note.
